We mapped nine sectors the same way: who owns the answer an engine gives today, and the public dataset that displaces them. The finding repeats. Almost nobody holds the throne with owned data; it's held by self-published "best of" lists, generalist listicles, or the government's own page. One sector is proven and cited. Eight are mapped and queued.
AI already cites firms' own sites first, not directories or press. We measured it. 67% of 236 AI legal citations were firms' own websites.
